HOW SKILLED SHOULD I BE TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS EVENT?

The Mountain Bike Warrior weekender packages are designed for riders of all abilities, but best suit riders with good fitness & bike handling skills.

​

You should already be comfortable with lifting the front wheel, hopping, and tackling small drops and steep trail sections, and are looking to develop these skills further as well as learn new locations to ride. 

​

We tailor each trip specifically to the group helping you to achieve the your desired outcomes from the day. 

​

If you are new to mountain biking our INTRODUCTION TO MTB course may be more suitable. To learn the basics before exploring further

WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH TRANSFERS?

This depends on the trip and more information will be provided with your quote and pre event info pack. Please see the trip example below

Edinburgh Weekender: 

​

Bike Collections: Typically we will collect your bike either Thursday evening or Friday morning. Collections within 5 miles of an M5 junction between Taunton and Bristol are included. - If you require collection from another location this can be arranged for a fee.

​

People + Bikes: our support vehicle can carry up to 8 passengers + bikes. If you would like to join us in the van on the way to Scotland we charge £50. Collections within 5 miles of an M5 junction between Taunton and Bristol are included. - If you require collection from another location this can be arranged for a fee.

​

Flights & Trains: Transfers to and from Edinburgh Airport / Train Station are included. If you would prefer or need to work the Friday / Monday we can  collect your bike & have it waiting for you in Scotland then deliver it home after the event - Collections within 5 miles of an M5 junction between Taunton and Bristol are included. - If you require collection from another location this can be arranged for a fee.

WHATS THE DEAL WITH ACCOMMODATION

You will typically be offered 3 styles of accommodation and prices reflect these. (Camping, Hostel/glamping pod, Twin Hotel share)

​

Single Supplements and accommodation upgrades may be available depending on location

​

For open multiday open events we would typically book a hotel twin rooms

WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

You will receive a detailed kit lit will be sent with your pre-ride information pack. If you think you may need additional kit contact us for great rental rates and discounted sales.

- Helmet

- Appropriate clothing to cycle all day in

- Appropriate footwear

- Small Backpack / Bike Bags

- Water Bottle

- Lunch & snacks

- Waterproof jacket 

- Small tool kit / multi tool 

- Spare inner tube(s) / puncture repair

Overnight 

- Evening Clothes

- Wash kit

- Phone chargers etc

- Sleeping Bag & Mat (if camping)

- Tent (hire availble from £10)

ARE UNDER 18'S WELCOME

We are happy to work with young people over the age of 10. Join us for a great family day out or treat your daughter or son to a birthday adventure they won't forget!

Our staff are all trained and qualified instructors and educators with completed background checks 

​

However as a new business in covid times we do not cueently hold an AALA licence. Therefore we must insist a parent is present and involved in the mountain bike activity.

​

​

IS MY BIKE SUITABLE?

We recommend a good quality full suspension or front suspension mountain bike. 

​

If you are not sure speak to us and we can advise you further. We also have a small number of mountain bikes that can be rented

We operate single day mountain bike tours in Southwest England and South Wales. We are also happy to arrange bespoke days elsewhere in the UK.

MTB Explorer & Introduction to MTB

​

Our Weekend Warrior MTB explorer & challenge packages ensure a jammed packed weekend. With most transfers included allowing you to leave work Friday your bike & kit waiting for you at some of the best MTB locations in the UK or europe. 

​

We also operate MTB Challenge Events for small groups across the UK. From crossing the Coast to Coast challenges &Trans National Park Challenges to the what we think is the Ultimate UK MTB/Gravel challenge Hiking and cycling the National 3 Peaks 

​

Please note! We aim to be able to operate european tours as soon as the world returns to some form of post covid normality
